James is Creative Director of BBC Creative – the BBC’s newly-formed in-house advertising agency – and primarily heads-up work to promote BBC Sport, CBBC, CBeebies, BBC Learning and Charities including Children In Need. Previously James has won over 100 creative and effectiveness awards, and held senior creative positions in the advertising industry at McCann offices in Manchester, Prague and Berlin, leading campaigns for Aldi, SABMiller and Harley-Davidson. Whilst at the agency Big, James helped the company become one of the most awarded in the UK along with his creative partner Tim Jones. James has also previously headed campaigns for some of the UK’s top brands such as Cadbury, Domino’s, Vauxhall and Typhoo.
